We're making some noise! Rantoul Gifted Program issue on Local News!!

Will persistence pays off? Well, if it's any sign as to what things are to come, the answer should be YES! Amanda Evans, a reporter from WCIA-Channel 3 News, the local affiliate in the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, area, caught wind of the blogs that I have been posting and contacted me about putting the issue on the air. Well, since I was obviously way over here in Indiana, I was not going to be able to do it, but I got into contact with my ex-wife Lora and her husband Mark, who were more than happy to discuss the issue live on camera. It didn't get a lot of huge play--but hey--IT'S THE NEWS!!! This was MORE than I thought would happen initially, and I invite you all to take a look at the link to see the story and click on the "watch" portion to see the actual story as it was broadcast!

We're making some noise, people! This is great!

Again, I appreciate everyone's support of this effort and with things like this, we WILL make a difference! YEAH! Special thanks to Amanda, who took this and ran with it! You rock!
