Watch Your Step

Whenever I would venture out onto our rough, rocky driveway without shoes on, I used to think of a PSA our local TV stations aired when I was a kid, warning us not to play in the street barefoot. Until recently, when I realized:

They used to air public service announcements warning people not to play in the street barefoot.

It really was a simpler time when we were our kids' age.

And that's one to grow on.
