On Schedule

M. Edium started Montessori school in the spring, which turns out to have been slightly less than ideal. In addition to having to go through a graduation ceremony for the school three weeks after he started, we've been a little bit off-balance as parents. Everyone but us always seemed to know what was going on.

Last week, when the official school year started, we find out why. Apparently all the parents get schedules every September that list all of the year's activities, from field trips to family nights. It would have come in handy over the summer. But believe me, now that we have it, we're going to hang onto it.

That is to say, my wife is. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, since she won't let it out of her possession.
