Nice to Meet You

The other day, while shopping at Home Depot, my three-year-old son was pulling the shopping cart. In theory, I was pushing it, but it would be more accurate to say that I was kind of holding it back, to make sure it didn't get to close to him and trip him up.

But I biffed it. He took too long of a step, and the cart's undercarriage caught on the back-top of his hiking boot. He lost his grip on the basket and pitched over, flat on his face. I dashed around the cart and helped him up, apologizing profusely. Fortunately, he didn't seem to be hurt or even all that mad.

However, he did spend the next several minutes of our shopping trip walking down the aisles anouncing, "MY DAD RAN OVER ME MY DAD RAN OVER ME MY DAD RAN OVER ME MY DAD RAN OVER ME."

But since there's a chance, however small, that you might not have heard him, I thought I should post this story on the Internet just to be sure.

Hi, I'm Jeff, and I'm a daddyblogger.

Hey Jeff! One of your co-bloggers here...

I think we could probably fill an entire blog with these kinds of stories. My daughter hasn't started making public accusations like this, but I really can't wait...
