Father's Day Gifts: The Smart Mug

smartmug.jpg

I'll admit it. I am a coffee fiend in the morning. But generally, and curiously, this is only at work--when I am at home, I really don't desire it all that much, which is weird. Anyways, I digress. As I was searching for some good ideas for Father's Day gifts, I happened along the Smart Mug, which would be almost perfect for me in many ways and other caffeine-addicted dads.

The way it works is that the mug has a temperature gauge on it that you set as the desired temp to keep your wonderfully, yummy coffee and other things warm. But what normally happens with most people, regardless of how great their mug is, that by the time they get to work, the coffee and what nots have lost their temp and now are just either lukewarm or even cold. But the Smart Mug works in a way that by plugging it into your car's cigarette lighter, it will keep your goodies at that preset temp!

Pretty cool, huh? Of course, it's not exactly convenient always to be toting a cord and plugging and unplugging or even transporting the entire operation, but hey--I'll do anything for hot coffee on a Monday morning!
