Father's Day Gift Ideas: Talking Email

p65574.jpg

I love to email. To a fault. My wife claims it's really my only way of effective communication, which would be obviously a reason why I love to just write in general. Although I AM working on my verbal communication overall in a big sense (RIGHT HONEY???), email is obviously the form of communicating that is here to stay as we continue to ride the information superhighway.

For most people though, email can be somewhat of an inconvenience when they have to write it. Where there's a problem, there's almost always a solution; so check out "talking email", which functions as a USB microphone that you can set up to basically just say your email, and then when you are done, you just click enter and the "voice" mail you do then is an attachment to an email. It seems easy enough.

However, most people would probably say that if you go to this much trouble, just pick up the phone. But for those of us that may be even trying to bridge the gap of email and written communication to more verbal, this may be just what is needed for me. See, honey?? There is hope!!! :)
