When we moved into this house, the next door neighors had two kids. Their youngest, a son, was only a little older than M. Edium is now.
This past weekend, that same son moved out of his parents' house and into his first apartment. The young parents who became our new neighbors are now empty-nesters. Just like our neighbors on the other side.
How did this happen? Is it possible that we've lived here this long? Where has the time gone?
At least we can take comfort in the fact that our son isn't going to be moving out any time soon. It'll just seem that way.
