Bummer

For some reason, I've been thinking a lot about my father tonight. He passed away nearly a year ago after a brief and awful battle with pancreatic cancer. Every now and then, the fact that I won't ever be able to talk to him again crushes me in the face and buckles my knees.

It kills me to think she might have to endure nights like this.

It kills me even more to think she might not.
