Brief Encounters

There's a lot of things I enjoy about having M. Small potty trained. Not having to buy diapers, not having to clean up after him, having one less member of the family whose bodily waste I need to physically carry out of the house.

The actual training process, though...the thing I liked least about that was the first few times when I would take him out wearing underwear instead of a diaper. I had an extra pair in my coat pocket in case of accidents or emergencies, but I can't say I relished being a person who carried small boys' underwear around with me in public for those few weeks.
