Boys, let's go trick or treating!

I am SO excited. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday and I get to go out trick or treating with the boys for the first time in almost 4 years! Since I am the non-custodial parent, Halloween has not fallen on a weekend for that long, so I have unfortunately had to hear about the boys' trick or treating experiences from afar, which is fine because I have seen their pictures and heard their stories, but now we get to go out and have it firsthand!

Jonathan is going to be a scary vampire, or so he says. I think by the time we get a little makeup on him he'll resemble more of Jonathan Lipnicki in the "Little Vampire"--he'll be too cute to be scary! Meanwhile, Caleb, who still very much has the Halloween spirit at almost 11, is going to be a police officer. I think it's also a sign of something he wants to be when he grows up and also an homage to his stepsister who is going into law enforcement. I just want to make sure he looks more professional than Village People-ish :)

It should be a great time! We are getting the boys and whisking them back to our house where we will raid all of the houses in our neighborhoods and visit some friends, and then back to our house to raid the stash of yum-yums and maybe even watch a (pseudo) scary movie. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!! :)
