2008 Hot Christmas Toys: Disney Fairies

Disney Fairies.jpg

It's not often that Christmas lists don't have something Disney related, so of course I have to discuss at least one item, right? Well, as much as I hate to admit it, the Disney empire does have some decent things out there, and following the mode of having dolls from their movies, the newest thing that is sure to blaze off in terms of sales are Disney Fairies. Here is a brief capsule of the product:

Enter a secret enchanted world where only Disney Fairies live, playing music, dancing and singing under the light of fireflies. Each collectible doll features a new head and body sculpt, fully rooted hair, acetate flutter wings, soft clothing, a small plastic stand and a bonus collectible fairy charm and bracelet. A unique secret code card unlocks fun games and activities on the Disney Fairies Web site. Collect them all.

Well, OF COURSE they would have a ton of things to choose from, right? And OF COURSE they would have a secret code to go to the web site so you can see all their merchandise! Ok, ok, I'll stop my jealousy of Disney's marketing schemes. Really, when you look at the prices--ranging from 15.99-29.99, it's not terrible, but course Disney isn't looking for quality, they are looking for quantity!
